The Kensington software allows chording of buttons and set button actions based on the application that is being used. There is a lot to like about the slimblade, but I wouldn't mind some extra buttons or atleast be able to customiz the few it has.īoth Elecom and Kensington provide software to allow more flexible configurations of their products. Recentley I decided to play a game after work and I ended up with shoulder cramp and switched over to a Kensington slimblade which can be used both left and right handed. In wayland I can assign keyboard keys to the extra buttons using udev hwdb but no button combinations which severly limits the usability. The elecom has a but load of extra buttons, however two of the buttons have by default no functionality in Wayland, they can be asigned in games and software so they are recognized, but Ubuntu/Wayland/X11 doesn't have any configurators to configure these extra buttons. Some features of your Mac aren't designed to work in Windows.A few months ago I switched to an Elecom Deft pro. If a Mac feature still doesn't work after updating the Windows support software, search for your symptom on the Apple support website or Microsoft support website.
